Pretty Fat

Don't tell me how to see my body.
You don't know my history.
You don't know my struggles.
You don't know my abusers.
You don't know what you might trigger.

Each time you say "you're not fat, you're ______."
You continue the ideas that fat is ugly.
You posit that one cannot be fat and pretty.
You make one believe that once you see them as "fat",
You won't find them pretty.

"Don't tell me  "you're not fat, you're pretty."
